Hey, I’m Mina —
photographer, creator, chronic feeler of all the tiny moments people usually rush past. I’m the heart behind Mina’s Photo and MI Studio Space here in Wayland, MI.
I didn’t set out to build a business. I set out to follow the tug — the one that told me people deserved to be seen in a way they hadn’t been in a long time. Maybe ever. Somewhere along the way, that little tug turned into a studio, a community, and a front-row seat to the strength, softness, and messy-beautiful humanity in front of my lens.
I photograph all gender identities, all bodies, all couples — because connection is connection, and empowerment doesn’t belong to just one kind of person.
Here’s what I’ve learned doing this work:
People don’t come to me for “pretty pictures.”
They come for the moment they finally exhale.
For the spark when they recognize themselves again.
For the shift that happens when they stop bracing… and start blooming.
